Agricultural Show

The VAS Rural Ambassador and VAS Junior Show Ambassador competitions are so much more than the historic showgirl competitions used to be. They an opportunity for outstanding young members (male and female) of our community to be recognised for their interest in agriculture and/or their contributions to the local community. 

Local show winners have the opportunity to progress to regional, state and national level competitions. There are prizes to be won however the best part of the program is providing a platform for young like-minded people to come together and to participate in personal and professional development workshops. 

We're very proud of our the Ambassadors crowned at our 2020 Show for their continued success. Hayley Young (Junior Ambassador) represented us at the 2021 Junior Ambassador State Final and Alex Pattinson (Rural Ambassador) went on to win the State Final held at the Melbourne Royal in 2022!
